In lieu of my remaining travel snaps (still to come), here are a few shots of the new Burbury Hotel.

Now that I’m back in the swing of things it feels good to have some exciting pictures in the pipeline. Wont give anything much away just yet, but watch this space I suppose.

There is something special about film. Something that cant be replicated digitally. I don’t suppose I’ve actually pinpointed the characteristics, but there are certainly some obvious differences (dependent on the particular film) in terms of colour, grain, texture, and of course, the print sizes/quality available. Not to mention that the cost per shot makes me take it more seriously. Shooting some more film is something I’m hoping to do some more of in my personal work. I’d love to drag my 67 to a fashion or editorial shoot, but turn around times usually bring some limitations…
